Exaggeration and hatred towards the personality of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)
Abstract
This research examines and analyzes the two dangerous deviations that occurred in the character of Imam Ali (peace be upon him): extremism and harshness. It aims to demonstrate the moderate, middle-of-the-road approach called for in the Holy Qur’an and confirmed by the narrations, and to highlight the status of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as defined by Islamic law, far from excess and neglect. The research consists of The first topic: The concept of extremism and estrangement and the reasons for their emergence. It consists of several demands. The first demand: The meaning of extremism and estrangement linguistically and technically. The second demand: The emergence of extremism in Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and its reasons. The third demand: The emergence of estrangement and hostility towards Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and its reasons. The second demand: Imam Ali (peace be upon him) between the text. The Qur’an and extremism and hatred, and it consists of several demands, and the first demand: the status of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in the Holy Qur’an, and the second demand: the verses prohibiting extremism and hatred in religion, and the third demand: the distortion of the status of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) due to extremism and hatred, and the third topic: the position of the narrations on extremism and hatred, and it consists of Several demands, the first demand: the narrations prohibiting extremism in the case of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), the second demand: the narrations prohibiting harshness and hostility towards Imam Ali (peace be upon him), the third demand: moderation in the love of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as recommended by the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the conclusion, we ask God that this research be beneficial and practical and that He make us among those who work for moderation and abandon the path of hatred and extremism towards the Commander of the Jinn and Humanity, Ali (peace be upon him).
