النفي البريطاني الثاني لطالب النقيب عام 1921
Abstract
This paper aims at studying the reason that made Britain exile Talib AL _Naqeep in 1921 after revealing his political ambitions after the first world war as within the general British plan for him to be the ruler of Iraq and after Percy Cox became the high Commissioner in Iraq in 1920 as a successor of Arnold T. Wilson who formed the Iraqi Provisional Government and appointed Talib AL _Naqeep as ministry of interior . When Britain nominated Prince Faisal Bin AL _ Hussein as the King of Iraq according to the resolutions of Cairo Conference in March 1921 , Talib AL _Naqeep opposed that nomination and threatened the British authorities in Iraq with muting and use of force depending on his friends chiefs of the Iraqi tribes . That caused Britain to end his political role , detain him and exile him to Ceylon in April 1921 .
